ABOUT RAIN ANGEL
Hey, I'm Jule and I'm the founder of Rain Angel.
Fashion, art and personal expression have been with me all my life, but initially I took a different career path. After a few years as a social worker, I felt ready for a change and decided to pursue my passion for fashion. This is how Rain Angel, my own fashion brand, was born. I specialize in upcycling and transforming used materials into unique pieces of clothing. Each piece at Rain Angel symbolizes rebirth and transformation, inspired by the idea of creating something special from the ordinary.
By transforming used materials into unique garments, I give new meaning not only to the fabrics, but also to the people who wear them. Because, as I like to say:

HOW DID THE BRAND NAME CAME?
I have been studying Western and Chinese astrology since my earliest childhood. What seems trivial to many people is a helpful tool for me to understand myself and other people better. So it made sense for me to find out about Iranian astrology together with a Persian person.
The name "Rain Angel" is therefore the result of my involvement with Iranian culture and Persian astrology, as well as the meaning of Tīr, which is decisive for the naming of my brand. The translation and meaning of Tīr is "Rain Angel". In Western astrology, the Rain Angel corresponds to Cancer, in Chinese astrology to the rabbit. As an astrologically very water-oriented person, I resonated directly with the word "rain angel".
SUSTAINABILITY
Rain Angel primarily stands for sustainability and slow fashion.
As an upcycling fashion brand, Rain Angel aims to contribute to criticizing and questioning the consumption of fast fashion and the circumstances of mass production in the fashion industry. I only work with clothes that are already available. I either receive donations of second-hand and vintage clothing or occasionally find items of clothing on the street, which I then refine into unique pieces with my own art and design ideas - in the hope that the pieces that used to be unloved will have added value again and be worn with pleasure.
BODY NEUTRALITY
I believe that the "body positivity" approach is great in the first place, but for many people it seems unattainable and inauthentic. Rain Angel stands for authenticity and aims to give people a way to focus more on their being through clothing. I pursue this with the concept of "Body Neutrality".
Body Neutrality criticizes the social centralization of beauty ideals and the concept and value of beauty in general. The focus is on acceptance and respect for one's own body. The body is not judged, it is more about not reducing your being to your body. Whether you like your body or not, through body neutrality you learn that your value is independent of your physical appearance. With Rain Angel clothing you can give your body shell a new look and a new attitude and I hope you feel comfortable by wearing my clothes.
INDIVIDUALITY & EXCLUSIVITY
People today want to express their individuality. Many people express this through fashion. Rain Angel follows this vision. The offered pieces only exist once, all pieces are unique and carefully handcrafted.
